Iron Rooster came about six years ago when we were unable to find strong, attractive accessories like trellis and arches for our garden. So, with our love of gardening and engineering background, we work closely with another manufacturing company to make our own.
Our inspiration comes from the rustic old gardens, stone courtyards and vineyards of provincial France and Italy. We aim to produce garden furniture and features of vintage design that will stand the test of time and be handed down through families.
In addition, we import pre-used handcrafted articles made of stone, teak and iron. Examples include Kadhais which are old Indian cooking pots as unique as the person who crafted them. They can be repurposed as fire pits, water gardens or unusual planters.
Stone jali which were used in buildings as decorative privacy screens which filter light beautifully and can be built into walls or mounted as wall art. Gates crafted from timber and iron which bring something unique and charm to your garden. We also source specific items on request subject to availability.
We enjoy having contact with the people who buy things from us, hearing their stories, then seeing their photos- often months later.
